UMN Student Silent March

The student leaders who initiated the demand to remove administrators’ names from buildings organized a silent march that took place on April 25, 2018 to emphasize the importance of their campaign. They insisted on silence because they noted that they were silenced if the university persisted in honoring the people who were “racists, anti-semites and anti-communists.” They marched to each building and read documents about them.
