This Minnesota Daily article reports that the Association of College Editors will disseminate thousands of ballots so that the “world leaders of tomorrow” can register their opinions in regard to future conflict. The initiative demonstrates the growing anxiety in the 1930s about the prospect of another global war—one in which many university students would no doubt be asked to fight.
