“Luther’s Visit Protested by Pickets”, Photograph
Picketers from Minnesota youth, liberal, and labor groups protested in front of the Minneapolis venue of a meeting between Nazi Ambassador Hans Luther and the Civic and Commerce Association. There are placards with anti-Hitler and anti-fascist slogans, as well as ones calling for a boycott of the 1936 Olympics, to be hosted in Berlin.
