Campus administrators monitored students who attended peace demonstrations at the University of Minnesota. This list was found in the files of Ray P. Chase. Students were not only spied upon, but then that information was gathered to be sent to Chase. Some of these students appear on Chase’s dossiers on student activists. A few people on campus provided Chase with this type of information, including leaders of ROTC, and Dean Nicholson.
